Instead of a complicated, “à la carte,” per-person cost structure, our pricing is streamlined into an all-inclusive package to facilitate your budgeting. We provide one price for the complete experience, providing almost everything you need to make your celebration unforgettable.

PRICING MINIMUMS
Each time slot at Southern Oaks carries a specific minimum booking size, dependent on the day of the week and time of day of the event. These are greatest on Saturday nights, when the minimum booking size for a reception is 150 guests. Receptions can be booked for 100 guests on Saturday afternoons, Sunday afternoons, and Sunday through Friday nights. Although events must be booked for a group of at least these sizes, you may certainly have fewer guests in attendance. Holidays and other dates that are in exceptional demand may also carry heightened minimums or increased rates. Please contact a member of our events team to receive pricing information for a particular date and time.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
Our payment schedule is very loosely structured. We only require three payments: An initial deposit of $1,500 at the time of booking, a “good faith payment” of $3,500 due ten months before the event (or adjusted accordingly if booked in a closer timeframe), and a balance payment due one month before the event. If you would like to make additional payments or monthly installments, you are welcome to do so.

For every event taking place at Southern Oaks Plantation, we require a refundable security deposit of $500. This is due at the same time as the balance payment, one month before the celebration. This deposit will be returned after the event, providing there is no damage to the building, property, or building contents, and the stipulations of the contract are observed.

CEREMONY PRICING
The ceremony charge for each event is determined by the amount of participants in the wedding and the difficulty of preparation. The ceremony base price of $1,500 includes set up and take down of white chairs provided by Southern Oaks on the front lawn of the Plantation, a loudspeaker system with one microphone and the music of your choice synchronized to the proceedings, and coordination of the entire ceremony. The price also includes a bridal party of up to 16 attendants, not including the bride, groom, and their parents and grandparents. We want to make your dreams come true, and we can accommodate many special requests. However, there may be additional fees incurred as the ceremony becomes more elaborate and more coordination is involved.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal check, cashier’s check, certified check, checks issued by credit card companies, cash, or money order.
